Meet Matt, our founder. Matt’s an average guy trying to solve an average problem. Matt has 5 kids, wants to travel, and wants to take his favorite hobby with him: his bikes. He has two problems - he doesn’t want to buy an SUV and trailer combo, and he wants something that serves multiple purposes.

Matt’s also a NICA mountain biking coach and loves being outdoors with his family, so he wanted something that could take bikes, kayaks, and gear without having to retrofit a trailer. So Matt gets to work designing a new trailer - one that serves multiple purposes and allows him to be out making memories with his family.

Matt designs the Cedar trailer (named after his beautiful city in Southern Utah) and has his high school friend build it. E3 trailers is born.

We want our trailers to be known as the most versatile MTB trailers on the market. Every trailer is hand-crafted and welded by an award-winning welder in Utah. All of our trailers are built to last (Matt loves the BIFL channel in Reddit).
